First, anyone have any experience with this one or the San Disk brand?

And can anyone suggest other cheap but good quality MP3 players?

Thanks in advance.

Get the SanDisk 1GB one from best buy on black friday. It's only 34.99 i think. You have to get there before noon though. Its the sensa m240 and has an fm tuner.

I have a 40 gig Toshiba F40 from TigerDirect.com It was 200$ but it has a huge color screen and 40 gigs of storage. Works pretty well. If you have the cash for it it is TOTALLY worth the money.

I got my boyfriend the 4 gig SanDisc video Sansa, and it seems to be pretty good. The screen is bigger than the comparable Creative Zen, and it has a fairly sturdy body.

It was around $150 Canadian, so you can probably find it for something like $5 assuming our exchange rate is still crap.

Just wondering, whats a good price per gig. I hear iPods are overpriced considering the number of gigs you get so whats a fair match.

I think I am getting an Ipod shuffle, and for $90.00 CAD it's not too bad for a gig. It's more expensive than some and doesn't have a screen, but it's just what I want: A rechargeable, durable mp3 player that is very small.

Oh, and even though iPods aren't meant for the user to replace the battery, is it easy to pry opn and put one in anyways? If not, I'll factor in user battery replacements into my decision.

Since this thread exists I might as well ask it here. Has anyone heared of the Wolverine MVP-9060 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/customer-reviews/B000BYU63Q/ref=cm_cr_dp_2_1/002-4135892-9607224?ie=UTF8&customer-reviews.sort%5Fby=-SubmissionDate&n=172282) if so is it any good. I see it has favorable reviews on amazon with the main complaint being made about the color of the player itself which I am not to fond of either but that doesn't bother me if its a good player . Anyways I have never heard of this brand so I was just wondering if any of you can give it a thumbs up.
