For a company that makes videos for the viewers, it's quite sad that they don't keep their audience informed.
This, the gazette, they've just let them go. It's quite sad.

Hmm... I think we were all just a little swamped this past few days.. but you're right. We can do a better job of communicating with our viewers.

i am not trying to put the staff at rev3 down or anything like that with what i am about to say
my worry is that there about to cancel not only this show but the Gazett as well
i also feel that they are canceling Webdrifter
yes they warn us about there not being a show but we have to go out and get it
if i may make a suggestion about it.....perhaps you guys can put out a quick audio file out.....like a 5-10 5seconds or so long
that way people who subscribe to them will get that and they will be informed and not have to go out and find out why for them selfs
just my 2 cents
keep up the great work

The Gazette isn't cancelled. Go read the thread posted by Glenn.
I doubt Social Brew is cancelled... they would probably give the show more than 4 episodes to see if it finds an audience.
Web Drifter will be back in the fall.

It sucks about no show this week.I was digging it,they're finely starting to get they're niche. As far as the DoS attacks goes,I say the RIAA is Satan, its dying and taking everything along with it. I the people that did the dos attacks on revision3 had orders from the RIAA,and maybe someone will nail them to the wall for it.Wishful thinking though.

Please quit the trolling.Yes, they tell us that it's not happening hours after it's supposed to happen. The way they're treating it, it's like a "Oh, and by the way, we're not putting up a new episode today. Oh well."

Yes, they tell us that it's not happening hours after it's supposed to happen. The way they're treating it, it's like a "Oh, and by the way, we're not putting up a new episode today. Oh well."And the reason why is? ... maybe resources diverted elsewhere to get their network up and running?? Cut Rev3 some slack this week. Its not been a normal week for them.

becuase videos from rev3 are really addictive, just like tv, video games, movies, coffee, porn, or crack.

The POINT being made @tokenuser was that NO timely communication was forthcoming.
Honestly, a single-line post is the least one can expect from a company who's entire business model is based on media production. I recognize that DDOS attack was a 'crisis' and was thankful for Jim, Patrick, et. al.'s written explanation on the website and verbal recounting on TWiT.
If Jim is comfortable with that level of transparency regarding critical infrastructure, I don't see any reason why a timely and accurate forum post for an unscheduled "by week" on show production would be a big deal. The less said, the more people's imaginations start to wonder. It's basic PR.
I don't even watch SocialBrew, but you're way out of line here.

The same is happening this week apparently. There isn't a new episode and it has been over 1 and 1/2 hour since supposed to be released, but no communication from the company stating this fact.

As was posted in the other thread, I think the loss of Neha has something to do with it.

I'm wondering if they've decided to scrap the show and/or sharply curtail the production budget due to the economics of the Epic-Fu acquisition.
Neha did characterize it as a "business decision" and not her "choice". Then again, I believe she was originally hired to be a producer as well as Patrick's co-host on Tekzilla. That clearly didn't work out as planned.

That still doesn't mean any good reason for them to not let us know if they are not going to put out a new show or even if the show has gone into hiatus like the Gazette. Someone from there needs to say something!

I don't know about her being co host on Tekzilla..wasn't that originally Jessica Corbin's spot? Neha was just a correspondent, IIRC.

CAC & The Broken welcome Social Brew into the archives??
Seriously unless i'm missing something, still no word... Is this the business model where if we don't talke about it, maybe it'll just go away??

I hate to speculate, because I have no real information to go on, but here's what we know:
There was a dating feature meant to be shown on The Social Brew.
The dating feature was not shown, and promised to be coming.
The dating feature never appeared.
Irene promised the dating feature in the next episode stating that it had to be.
There was no next episode.
Neha is no longer working with Revision 3.
I can't say the events have anything at all to do with one another, but when that's all the info the show has revealed in three weeks... it kind of runs together.
