For a while now, every once in a while when I open Firefox (and now Firefox 2), I find that for some reason that all my bookmarks are erased and my homepage has been reset. Whats going on with it? Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

What profile are you using? Maybe the default is resetting for some reason, try making your own:
1. Close Firefox completely (select File > Exit from the main menu of Firefox).
2. Select Start > Run... from the Windows Start menu.
3. Enter firefox.exe -ProfileManager and press OK.

This may sound stupid but where is the main menu of Firefox. I can't figure this out and it's still giving me trouble.

Normally when Firefox does that it's after a crash, and when you reopen Firefox it asks some stupid question and you click yes, and it changes the profile. If you see that, Alt-Control-Delete and end Firefoxs process.

Then reopen it.
