OMG, I just realized that, for the first time in about five years, I have both root beer AND vanilla ice cream AT THE SAME TIME!
Thinking about root beer floats has me wondering what else people like. I think Coke and cherry ice cream would rock. And a cream soda float is a given.

Try grape juice and vanilla ice cream. It's like a smoothie.

remember, always root beer in BEFORE the ice cream. otherwise, like someone you're unsure about in their sexual health or don't know that well, all you get is head.

It just so happens that I just got in for a day long round trip from niagara falls (home) to columbus, ohio, about a 5.5hr trip down. on the way back, before stopping by some friends to hang out for an hour, i stopped at the a&w joint, had a order of fried cheesecurds, and an a&w root beer float! mmmm, havnt had one in such a long time, i had to order their biggest! and damn was it good!
if your wondering why i would go to columbus for a whole 10 minute visit, I picked up a new rear axle for my grand cherokee, time to start repairing it...:D

You know that A&W hardly counts as real root beer. :) But it's what I have as well.

Well, I needed to safely drive lol, but, if your speaking of a beer float, just take the roots out lol or just use something thats at least 100-120 proof lol. Might have to try that over this weekend lol!
