After doing research on scamming, I stumbled across James Randi.
I can't believe how I could've missed him. I've been interested in social engineering my whole life.
I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and damn. I get adrenaline rushes out of watching people get schooled.
My BP rose and my hands started to shake. That's how much I love this kinds of things.

oh, man, I love that clip. Good for you on finding James Randi. He's been fighting the good fight for dozens of years. He was a big inspiration for me writing the "scams, sasquatch, and the supernatural" lecture a couple of years ago. link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfhIuaD183I).
he hosts "the amazing meeting" every year in las vegas... I went a few years back, and would love to figure out an angle to have scam school head out there again...

The human stupidity never ceases to amaze and amuse me (I'm not implying that I'm super duper smart it's just that I laugh at us humans :))
Great non the less.
I hope you could upload one of the lectures to a torrent-site;)
But one question. The magician saying that you shouldn't reveal how the magic is done. How does that affect you?

I visit Penn Jillette's blog http://crackle.com/c/pennsays and he talks about "TAM" too. I think they need to send you guys out there.

Fun fact: Jonathan Pritchard, who helps me plan out show ideas and runs the second camera during shoots, used to work for James Randi, examining entries to the million dollar challenge. He read a LOT of crazy-talk.

Wow. That's awesome!
I would love to hear about crazy things Randi had been told over these past years.
I couldn't find his book on audible, torrent, I haven't tried amazon yet.
Too bad Randi doesn't do "scam school" esque shows. The spoon trick was amazing, until he explained that you had to bend it. However, during his visit on oprah (80s), a camera man brought his spoons from home and Randi managed to bend them. I doubt he has spoons under his sleeves. Or does he, Mr shwood?

LOL... that took me by surprise. I was just super interested to hear all the rev3 crew, and next thing I hear, Leo's praising Scam School!
As for the spoons... there's a ton of ways to do the effect, and very few of them involve swapping spoons.

Believe him NOT! My children! The ShwoodDotCom is simply a mortal being. His powers are not granted by any God or Goddess (a la Clash of the Titans!) The shwood is SIMPLY there to entertain and EDUCATE!
Trust no-one! Give not bums or hobo's money! They are playing you just as much as James Hydrick played his audience... Perhaps Bob should have recommended that he were spayed or neutered after the spanking he got on national telvision.
Point being... They're ALL scamsters. The only way to enjoy it is to *know* its a scam and have fun with it. THATS entertainment folks!
btw... brian's routines work as GREAT openers for chicks at the bar! If you want to meet new people, try out the electric match!
