I am looking for a good Long Island Ice Tea recipe...
Was at Chili's the other day and had a great one...have tried to recreate it and so far I have had no luck...

One shot each: vodka, gin, tequila, rum, triplesec.
Plus a dash of Sweet and Sour drink mix.
Then Coke to taste, I use Diet Coke because we tend to have it around more often. You need to use good alcohol too. Long Islands are tricky to get right though, if you make a bad one, then it is BAD, but good ones are awesome!
There is alot of work in it, which is why more often than not I just have rum and Coke. My favorite rum now for a while here is Appleton's.

Thanks for the reply...still experimenting...your right...when you make a bad one, it's really bad...lol
