New game announced.
Tenchu 4 exclusive to Wii.

Hopefully this turns out good as the last outing for 360 wasn't so hot.

Not much is known other than it's being made by the original Tenchu team. I'm a big fan of that game. I hope the new one turns out well.

How come most 3rd party developer can't make some nice graphic on Wii? I know the selling point of Wii is the creative control scheme (though in my opinion most of them use the Wii control in a wrong way), but can't you just make it look better? Look at Smash Bros and Mario Galaxy, they're what Wii games should look like.

Because they don't have to.. People buy the games anyhow. Go look at the million-sellers list at VGChartz or something, and have a look at what sells.

For what it's worth, the best graphics I've seen on the Wii are not Smash Bros or Galaxy, but Metroid Prime 3 and Resident Evil 4. Galaxy looks about the same as Sunshine. Textures look bad in first-person view. Water's nice tho.

I didn't play MP3 but I heard that it's great (both graphic and gameplay).
Resident Evil 4? Serious? It looks almost identical to GameCube version (it's good but still GC graphic). Though I have to admit Wiimote+RE4 is one of the best control scheme on Wii ever.

They are going to port RE0 to Wii this summer, I never expect they will refresh the graphic (I have no idea how they gonna use the Wiimote in RE0, they better be compatible with Classic/GC controller)

even though grainy scans those look decent but could be better for third party (Fragile,Madworld,Fatal Frame ..heck even Endless ocean was decent underwater ..on the boat however..meh)

I do agree that MP3 has the best visuals yet on Wii but just now after comparing Galaxy to Sunshine I disagree as Galaxy looks much better overall.(but yes upclose in FPS view some textures not so hot up close in some area's)

Apparently, according to Siliconera, Tenchu 4 is coming to PSP, so no longer Wii-exclusive.

Never heard of the site and just checked...sounding like a he said she said rumour.
I will wait to see a official announcement esp considering the visuals and controls were built ground up for wii.
Would have to be a separate version of the game with toned down visuals and very different controls obviously.

This news comes after we had an e-mail exchange with a member of the Tenchu 4 staff who told us they were working on “Tenchu 4 PSP”. I wrote this news off as a typo, but with the OFLC listing Tenchu 4 as a multiplatform game I think this was an accidental leak to us.

Obviously anything unannounced publicly is a rumor, but Siliconera seem to think it's true.

Siliconera is a pretty big site.. Surprising you hadn't heard of it. Have you heard of Kotaku? Or IGN? Just curious. ;)
