So we have Maine Aquaman, Bad Roommate Black Panther, Middle Management Red Skull... Who else is on the team?
Some candidates:
Southern Gentleman Namor
Exotic Dancer Power Girl
Viagra Enhanced Professor X
Eddie Vedder
Couch Potato Sentry
Captain New Zealand
Lunch Date Bruce Wayne (read Trinity #1)
Darryl (Stalkin' the Streets of New York)
Emo Ron Sandman
Tom Katers
This would make a great webcomic for the iFanboy site. Too bad I have none of the skills for the job.

What episode did Maine Aquaman appear in?
Right now, I'm just imagining him as a character on Murder, She Wrote, which constitutes the entirety of my knowledge of Maine.

A scene between Old Timey Radio Guy and Darryl would be classic.

Good god...
I'm not sure. It was a long time ago, around the start of One Year Later. I've tried to find it and failed, but I'm sure someone will given the proper amount of boredom and tenacity.

Aquaman of Maine's always been around in some form or another.
His first comics appearance predates that of Superman. He's in Compelling Adventures #12 (August, 1936). "The Banger of Bangor and the Scales of Justice." He shows up again in issue #17 "Pier into the Unknown."
He was also the protagonist of a short lived radio drama called "Lobstyria" (April - September 1943). Really more of a horror/suspense series. The show ended when voice actor Stu Winterbottom was killed by electric eels during a promotional campaign in Old Orchard Beach, ME.

I think he's been around since the 50s (episode not decade) or so.

I always thought there was something fishy behind Stu Winterbottom's death. The eels in the newsreel footage (my uncle has a lot of old Lobsyria collectibles from various private auctions) don't look like eels at all. And you can see something toaster-shaped drop into the tank just before he collapses. But there's a camera flash just at that moment.

Whatever month they did the big overview of One Year Later. He's made a couple of appearances since, I believe. He's my favorite Josh voice.

Actually -- and not to step on your toes here, Paper -- Compelling Adventures #12 was the first appearance of the Aqua-man of Maine (note hyphenation), but may not actually be the first appearance of the character. The story of that particular issue of Compelling Adventures was credited to Slim Dillinger, which was actually a pseudonym used by pulp author Frank Mckinsey, best known for creating "Lucius Devlin, Agent of S.A.T.A.N.", who appeared in Street and Smith's Ten Ace Detectives (August 1937).

It's the May 21, 2006 show.
Green Arrow #62 is the pick.

McKinsey, as you might recall, also wrote the story "The Hydro-Man from Mars" in 1936, which appeared in Science Wonder Stories. In it, a Martian wanderer named Ar-Tur, lands in the ocean off the shores of Maine, and is taken in by the lighthouse keeper shortly before the two became embroiled in a complex jewel heist masterminded by nefarious cat burglar based out of Bangor.
McKinsey would later try to claim that Aqua-man of Maine was his creation, one he re-used for Compelling Adventures. Sadly, the courts found in favor of the publisher, citing that the Aqua-man character was created for Compelling Adventures under a work-for-hire agreement, and that Aqua-man and Hydro-man had several disparities, including Aqua-man's pronounced New England accent (Hydro-man, a native of Mars, spoke without an accent and only in iambic pentameter).

Thank god somebody who was 9 when Hydro-Man from Mars came out is here to correct me. My knowledge of the Aqua-Man thing is really weighted towards Lobstyria and the mysterious demise of Stu Winterbottom. And only though stories from Uncle Nancy, whose anecdotes may be circumspect. (S)He does have the newsreel footage though...

The age joke? You went for the age joke. I'd like to think that's beneath you, Paper, but then I realize that when you were born, entertainment consisted of Party of Five and Britney Spears' first album, and thus... very little is beneath you.

Back in my day, we were accurate with OUR math... and our facts, too! :D
Never did get past the "J" volume of my Encyclopedia Britannica set, though.
Sure would liked to have known about Kalamazoo and mandrills.

Hmmm, I haven't tried that, but i will. For me it was just longer posts. Anything bigger than a couple of short paragraphs won't go through.

I'm not having the problems so far, otherwise I'd send the message myself.
