Optimus OLED Keyboard (Episode 11:The Dills)

Hey guys, I was just watching episode 11 (The Dills), and Alex referenced the Optimus Keyboard, where each key has its own OLED screen inside --- and I couldn't believe it, because I just got my Think Geek catalog in the mail yesterday, and that keyboard was in it!

Would any of us actually ever spend $1600 on a keyboard? I mean, don't get me wrong, I think it's pretty fucking cool, and if I had unlimited funds, I'd love to have one. But I don't think I could ever see myself (or anyone) spending that much on a keyboard!

Honestly, I think that is one of the reasons it is priced soo high because they know a few people will actually buy it.

Man, I'd hate to drop it just once. Honestly though, if I did have that kind of money to throw around, I'd buy it. But only because I like gadgets. Although, it can't be wireless with all the power it takes, so that right there is a downside. Plus, I'd assume it'd have to have a power cord, so having to take up another slot is a downside as well... Well, okay, I probably wouldn't buy it, but I'd like to play around with it.

That's more than my computer cost. It looks really cool, but I unless I hit the jackpot on the lotto I don't think I'll be buying one. :D
