Just thought of anouther cool thing to put on the show. There is a great community called http://www.osx86project.org/ for turning your PC into a mac running OS X 10.4 or 10.5 Leopard. I have done this with my Desktop and I have never been happier :)
It was a fun Project and would love to see it on the show
Thanks

I tried to use it, but you need hardware that is supported, otherwise the system won't start.
I installed it, but when I started the system, my sata card was not detected neither was my hard drive, so its not very realistic currently.
Would be a nice idea thought.

There is a small legal problem here. Doesn't the agreement of OS X require that OS X be run on a Mac?

Well, then if the definition of a Mac is a computer made or sourced by Apple, wouldn't putting RAM or a HD from any other source void the agreement?

While tehBoris is right, Apple still hasn't gone after Psystar...
I just recently did this on my computer and it works great!

No, beacuse they allow you to do that.
If you don't have a Macbook Air, that is sealed that is. :P

I'd also like to add, just like this weeks episode, I think this belongs in an episode of Tekzilla.

I also would like to see this. It's so easy nowadays thanks to all of the developers. It's a whole lot easier now than it was a few years ago. Not to mention a whole lot more compatible...
However, the EULA for Leopard states it can only be installed on "Apple-labeled hardware". Oh well. It's a lot more interesting than installing Ubuntu, at least.
