Did TRS every cover FF12

hey guys i have looked and not been able to find it so i hope that one of you guys could help me out with this

have they ever covered Final Fantasy 12 for the ps2

if yes could you give me a show number if not let me know that

I don't think so. The show came out in '07 and FF12 came out '06. I think they rarely (if ever) do a retro-review.

Jeff mentioned it once, I believe. I think it was during the review of Lost Odyssey (in episode 49), but I don't remember what he said about it.

I might be wrong. He might have mentioned it in episode 57, when they talked about Crisis Core.

I think he said he didn't played FFXII because he was in his "if its not next gen I won't play it" phase...

Final Fantasy 12 was an amazing game. Recently a friend of mine bought a PS3, and he was asking me what games he should get. He was upset that there weren't many PS3 games out that he wanted to play (then why did he get it?) and so I started suggesting PS2 games that he should try since he never had a PS2 either. Final Fantasy 12 is one of the first games I pointed him in the direction of and he loved it. That and FFX, FFX2, God of War and the sequel to that too. Recently I've pointed him in the direction of Beyond Good & Evil since he was asking me about the new teaser that came out. So take that Jeff, with your "i don't play last gen games", my friend has said that some of the best games he's played on his PS3 are PS2 games! :p

But, yeah, FF12 is great!

Well, to answer your question, they never did a segment on FF12 because it came before TRS started. I definitely remember someone mentioning it and I don't think whoever it was liked it.

Personally, I thought it was a great game, but I also liked 9 and apparently I am the only one who likes 9. And 7 is obviously the best.

I liked 9 minus some parts like the timed bits and Zidane wasn't the greatest main character but still liked the game.

I was kinda meh on 12. It felt like playing an MMO by myself.

Then the license board was just a half-assed Sphere Grid.


I liked 9 too. In fact, it was my favorite of the PS1 Final Fantasies.

But 6 will always be the best FF.
