Dude, I'm oldskool altoids UMD case usin' man. But yeah, works great. But infected? Something needs to be said about your taste in games :)

all i did was go on gamespot and find a bunch of games that got high ratings.
then i went on half.com and bought a few....infected was $8 lulz

...or you could just flash your PSP with a custom f/w, and...you get the point. No need for an Altoids case.

firmware hacks - too much work for me, and buying legit used games is cheap enough.
now, if someone came out withe the PSP equivalent of the DS R4....

Word. M33 FTW. Just make sure you get a big memory stick, at least a 2 gig (which is what I use) Lots of people go up to 4 gig though, I just haven't sprung for one yet.

Frankly, 8GB is the lowest I'd go for a hacked PSP. I'd wanna carry around at least a couple of games with me rather than 2.
I have a good 15-30 games on my R4DS and it's wonderful. Don't have to worry about carrying around those darn cartridges [big enough to be a nuisance, small enough to lose in seconds].
