iPod Video Fullscreen Problem

Hey guys,

First Post! I subscribe to Diggnation and Tekzilla and watch both podcasts on my 80GB iPod Video, which syncs up with iTunes. I have this problem where the video will be played in widescreen, but my ipod only displays a fullscreen view. As a result, the left and right sides are cut off. I notice that this happens when Tekzilla shows their questions, and I can never read words to the left or right of the screen.

Go to settings in videos. Then turn "fit to screen" off. That will shrink down the video so all of it shows

Thanks for the tip! We should specify that it's the Settings tab on-the-iPod, and not in iTunes (as I was originally searching). This option was actually -not- available on my old gen 5 iPod.

On the 5.5G iPod /w Video, it is under "Video Settings" and it is "Widescreen" that can be set to On/Off. Turn it on (where I leave it) and no clipping of edges.
