So someone asked me my opinion if they should buy a macbook/pro and it got me thinking about how much do I actually like my mac? So as a fun little thing I thought we could start a discussion admitting faults in our favorite things, and admitting some of our guilty rad pleasures.
My Macbook: thing runs waaaay too hot, I'm less productive on OS X than I am on Windows. Thing gets Dirty dirty dirty.
My favorite movies:
LotR RotK - my favorite movie that I only watch for the battles now. It's a rather slow movie.
Iron Man - the best super hero movie I've ever seen, but there is about 10 minutes before the final battle that is insanely boring.
My favorite TV shows:
So you think you can dance, it's the best reality show there is, but it's still a reality show, we don't care about the people who are just trying to get on tv by being eccentric, don't show them!
Dexter - The show is only Dexter, the rest of the cast is boooring.
Lost - I only watch the last 5 minutes of each episode, and for good reason.
My favorite games:
CS:S - Only fun if you're good.
TF2 - Only fun if your team is good.
My iPod: it's good because of iTunes integration, the actual player interface isn't as good as Zunes.
As for guilty pleasures:
Movies:
Transformers - It's action porn
Zoolander - Hilarious and horrible
TV:
Smallville - So horrible but I can't deny superman
So You Think You Can Dance - I'm a sucker for truly good dancing
American Gladiators - Soooooo cheesy.
Games:
Dave Mirra BMX - Terrible, but social distortion on the soundtrack, and make your own trick, I still go back to it every month or so
Music:
Kelly Clarkson - Back off, you know it's good.

Gears of War- We all know it had story problems and it was short, but man was it fun playing co-op with one of your buddies.
Guilty pleasures:
Airborne-cheesy and awesome
Bloodsport-Frank Dux=Rad!
Best of the Best-emotional ending gets me everytime
Saved by the Bell-I have them all on DVD...I know
The Hills-I watch more to make fun of it with my friends, but I still watch it.
There's plenty more I'm sure but that's all I can think of right now.

Movie-The Original Trilogy: Most of the acting was crap and there were a ton of little goofs.
Band-Rush: Geddy Lee's voice is definitely an acquired taste.
Tv-Doctor Who: It can get a little cheesy.
Author-Kurt Vonnegut: His pacing was a little slow sometimes
Guilty Pleasures
So You Think You Can Dance: I agree with everything the OP said.
American Idol: I've run many bands and dealt with many LSD cases so seeing singers get judged is just too much fun to resist
American Gladiators: Cheesy, but I sucked into the competition.
Ugly Betty: Very cheesy, but a lot of fun.

LotR RotK - my favorite movie that I only watch for the battles now. It's a rather slow movie. The only thing wrong with RotK is that they didn't go into the fact that Denethor had a Palantir and its effect on his madness. I mean, even the cartoon version had that in it, and it was about 1/3rd the length.
I could see if they'd skipped the Palantirs altogether, but after establishing them so much in the rest of the films, I was surprised they left it out.

Blues Clues: was much better with Steve :(
Fuck yes. Have you bought any of his albums since leaving the show? Good stuff.
Movies
Christopher Guest movies. My favorite movies, but serve very little purpose other than awesome.
Music
The Mountain Goats. They make a lot of music, but its a bit too lofi at times. Also, just make a t-shirt I can buy without heading to the tour already!
TV
House. "Hey, Im a sarcastic doctor who would be fired repeatedly in real life."
Games
Starcraft. Dated, but still awesome.
Guilty Pleasures
No one should ever feel guilty about enjoying anything.

Faults
ActRaiser - (aka Best Game of All Time) Nobody gives it the respect it deserves, and for that, I have to fault it. Really, other than that, it is perfect in every way.
Guilty Pleasure
Green iced tea. Too much sugar, but oh so freaking great. I'd make my own, but I've failed every attempt to come up with anything remotely tasty.

Yes! You rock too bro...that needs to come out on DVD...
Also, forgot to mention Sidekicks with Chuck Norris. That movie made me want to learn to break bricks. It also made me hurt my hand...also needs to come out on DVD

House. "Hey, Im a sarcastic doctor who would be fired repeatedly in real life."
I think that's a requirement of TV though...at least, a lot of them would get fired for doing what they do in a show.

Programming languages:
C++ - Bloated; you basically aren't using any of the STL (Standard Template Library) stuff, because it's all shit. For the best performance, you'll essentially be coding C with classes. Unsafe; you still have to deal with all kinds of memory issues. Shit everywhere. It's way too easy to fuck up.
It's a wonderful tool, though.

TV
Sports Night - I admit the second season is not quite as good as the first, and the use of a laugh track in the first drags it down. They should really rerelease it without the laugh track if they possibly could.
Scrubs - It can get too silly, and too focused on jokes that aren't funny. Also tends to activate something in people that gives them "Scrubs-vision" in which they start to imagine bizarre situations, such as what would happen if a drummer accidentally grabbed a magic wand instead of a drumstick before playing.
Videogames
Xenosaga - Yes, long cutscenes, hard-to-follow story. Bite me. I love it.
Final Fantasy 7 - Useless characters, materia, and skills. Other than that, this is easily one of the best RPGs there is.
Call of Duty 4 (multiplayer) - Okay, so the multiplayer is harder than a brick bat. Not for me!
Guilty Pleasures
Desperate Housewives - Used to watch the OC, had to replace it with something.
Beauty & the Geek - Come on, it has moments of true hilarity. I catch it sometimes. It doesn't last long anyway.

Deadliest catch is a guilty pleasure for me...
Arrested Development
...degrassi (even the new ones)
I have just made my way through frisky dingo season 1 and the verdict is: its pretty damn good for starting off really terrible ( i hated the first couple episodes)
Movies
I like Kevin Smith Movies. He never lets me down. I also really like Judd Apatow movies.
As for admitting fault in my favorites, I loved mass effect but slow running/walking bugged the shit out of me. I also hated the Mako.
