So i put together some footage from the trs meet-up, however, I have no idea how to get it out to every one. The movie is 15mins long and over 100mb so youtube and pownce are out of the question. Any ideas?

Is it over 1GB? If it isn't, you can spilt it into two parts that are under 10 minutes long. Youtube uploads individual files up to 1GB in size.

i was thinking about doing that, but i don't want to split the video and re-encode again.

Myspace video, facebook video, metacafe?
I'd just check other video sites.

I'm putting it up on facebook. My upload speed is slow (40kb). should be up in an hour. As a heads up, i never actually edited video before, so its really choppy. Also, I wasn't really paying attention to camera but on the conversation i was having w/ the guys, so the camera wanders away from their heads a lot.

couple of things, the editing and camera work is really bad on my part, and the audio is really bad from my camcorder. Also I've become very self conscious of my voice. I can't believe i sound like that.

Dude, I totally understand. That's happened to me so many times. I hear myself or see myself and it makes me cringe, ha ha.
Anyway, yeah, I was wondering when tamtamg was going to put up his video. I'm surprised it's so short! My video finally finished exporting. I'm going to watch yours now. I was going to suggest Viddler or Vimeo or something. Those have 500 MB upload limits, unlimited length. I'll be uploading to Viddler.
EDIT: Oh, do I need a Facebook account to watch it? I've resisted getting all the social networking site accounts pretty hard.

sorry, yes you will need a facebook account. it was the only place i could think of that would host a 15min 170 MB file.

See, this is why we need nametags at these events: I would have realized that that was you, and you could have asked me to move my big melon of a head out of your shot so it didn't end up practically filling the frame for like the first 45 seconds of your video. I'll add the back of my head to the apologies and say sorry. Great job though!

I'm debating reactivating an old Facebook account. Eh... Eh...
EDIT: Okay, I just reactivated and am watching. I see myself filming and am thinking I need a new haircut. The long hair does not look good!

Dude, that was you? I didn't recognize you at all. my baggage. Yah, i think we should all wear name tags with our forum names at the next meet-up.

I'm glad you got the rube goldberg story. You got better audio on a lot of stuff!

For some reason, it blew my mind to see someone getting autographs. I probably would have chitchatted and walked away. I think of them like friends I don't really know yet more than "celebrities". Weird. I am crazy.

exactly, autographs are retarded anyways. I think i would just chat and maybe get a pic but an autograph is lame no matter who you meet.

Great video, I'd highly recommend splitting it into chunks and reposting on Youtube.

All right, I've finally made links to my videos in the respective threads on the TRS forum and Diggnation forum. I'd embed them, but it appears only YouTube is able to be embedded. Here's links to the thread posts!

Good times! So sad that I missed out...
As I said on FB, I do hope they (and Diggnation?) come around to Chicago some time. That, my friends, would be epic indeed!
