Issues with my iPod touch

Allo,

I have issues with my iPod touch 32gb that has videos stops at specfic areas in them. What happens is the video play fines, but then there's video artifact, the sound cuts off and the video stops.

I'm using Rev3's "large quicktime" version.

What could justify that problem?

Are you downloading the video and then watching it or are you watching a streamed feed? Are you able to restart watching the video after it stops?

Is anything else running on the Touch at the same time? How much memory do you have free?

Reading a bit on the web, it seems that I'm not alone having issues with video playback on the Touch. It seems to be an issue with iTunes and USB drivers conflicting and sending most probably a garbled file over the USB link.

To answer your question, I'm downloading the video files with iTunes via RSS, then sync the usual way. I didn't try to resync and see if they break at the same spot tho.

Very occasionally I've had that problem but not often enough for me to call it an actual issue. I use Small Quicktime for my video podcast downloads and I have to say I've never encountered the issue with a Rev3 download.
