I don't like the fact that you put your last word in and then lock the topic. But that's not them main issue I had with the post...

The bigger point here is that Revision3 is different than most companies. Revision3 listens to our opinions and takes them into consideration. If anything, Revision3 acknowledges as a whole that we are just more than consumers of content. We are the blood of what they do.

...Why do people here feel so entitled that they should be included on every corporate memo and have every event within Revision3 reported to them?

We don't feel entitled. Its become more of an expectation that they'd let us know whats going on because they owe their fans information on subjects like this. A host got dropped from Rev3 and a former host who isn't known for spouting off was a bit flustered over how it went down. People just want to make sure Revision3 isn't doing dirty business.

I'm not trying to sound like we, the fans, are some kind of controlling power here but one of biggest reasons Revision3 was successful was because the large group of us who watched TechTV believed in Rev3 to do what G4 and Comcast refused to. They have always been directly connected to the fans.

Just because they have become a more successful business and are rising up doesn't mean that they should leave us in the dark.

They really need a PR department or something :P

What you described is in fact that you feel entitled to an explanation. You are not entitled to an explanation at all. You are a consumer. Keep consuming. Whileever the content is flowing, you will continue to consume.

You shouldn't expect to be informed of the outcome of every decision made in Rev3 meetings, and every staff change that happens in the back office.

What Dave knows is his business. The fact something was shared with him by a former colleague does not make it something that should be public knowledge. The fact that Dave said something in Twitter is bad form on his part.

... and hey, guess what. You're going to love this ...
