Don't get me wrong, I completely understand this, and wouldn't be heartbroken if it didn't open for awhile, but after JL mentioning it in his post [link is a few pages back in this thread], I would just want an update. Even a "for reasons we can't disclose, the store will not be opening until an undisclosed time." I wouldn't even want specifics, just that they know we're still here.

Despite that, I'm still not angry about it, and I'm not gonna boycott Rev3 over it or anything, it's just kind of frustrating because I want some frakkin tekzilla gear :p

Wait, so I've been checking the site every day for the last 3 weeks to buy a Diggnation t-shirt, and they don't even ship outside the USA? Talk about a slap in the face to the other 194 countries in the world.

Also the Help, Return Policy, Privacy Policy, Purchasing Terms and Shipping pages are all dead links.

And if you click the "Sign In" button it says "This site is powered by Clique ID" (like that means anything), and "Sign in with your Clique ID".
Not that it tells you how to actually go about signing up for one in the first place, there's no registration link. The only way to do it is to add an item to your cart and go to the checkout.

I know I was waiting anxiously for the store to launch (waste of time for us non-Americans), but another week or two might have been useful to get it past 70% finished.

This is horrible to say because it seems a whole lot of work has been put into the new store, but it's very underwhelming. The Jinx selection seemed to be better, and I'm not even sure they deliver to the UK and accept Paypal anymore.

I really wanted to buy something but nothing really looks that great to me, why are some of the logos inverted? It looks plain odd.

I hope there are more products coming because I want to support Rev3 in any way I can.

Edit: seems only US, Canada or Japan can pay by card. This seems like a down-grade.

What I love about anonymous forums is the honesty. If this were a live Diggnation people would be like "Hey, cool shirts Jim, I'll buy one today." But since we are not face to face we can be as open and honest as possible (even to the point of rude).

That being said, I too was underwhelmed. I actually thought to my self "Self, they need to get in touch with the local campus and contract out some art students to do some better designs."

Hopefully the designs aren't a Revision3 employee's, but if they are... let someone else take a stab at them. Hell, the TRS forum is full of great artists.

OK then I'll reply, seeing as I've only just logged onto the site for the first time in 24 hours, and it's not like I was notified that they had added international shipping. Sorry for being "rude"...


The signup form now has an option for "country", I chose Australia but when I entered my zipcode it forced me to enter 5 digits. Australian postcodes are only 4 digits (like 5000), so I had to enter "05000".
The checkout has a big red error that says "USPS Express Mail International is unavailable for this order".
The shipping cost says "FREE", which is obviously incorrect, possibly because of the invalid zipcode entered previously.
The help page (http://revision3.silverback.sparkart.net/answer/Revision3_Store-Support/what_payment_methods_can_i_use-3) says "We do not accept Credit cards issued by banks outside the U.S., Canada or Japan, Credit cards with billing addresses outside the U.S., Canada or Japan". So basically I have to get an American, Canadian or Japanese credit card to order something, they apparently won't accept an Australian Visa card.So yeah, in 24 hours we've gone from 0/10 for Australian customers to 3/10. I wasn't expecting to be able to order my t-shirt until at least 2009 anyway, but at least I was able to sign up for an account this time.

and the hats are more then the T-shirts. I can see 20 for a tshirt but 21 for a hat. At most a hat should be 15.

I've never been so inclined to offer help/get involved with Rev3 as when I saw that hat. I sold good hats for $15 and great hats for $22. That's a $7 hat at most. I'm disturbed by the store, both the product designs/quality, and site functionality. I'm suddenly overwhelmed with pride over my merchandising days. (although I am pretty proud of Alice In Chains tour manager telling me they had never sold so many t-shirts at a concert before, as they did when I worked for them - $9/head )

Both of my orders wrong. I ordered them at different times and neither of the shirts I got were the right ones AND they were the shirts that were on sale for eight bucks less than what I actually paid. I'm not impressed with this store so far. I had to give my boyfriend the wrong shirt for Christmas and explain that I tried to get the diggnation one but it got screwed up.

I'm willing to bet there are more people and more money involved in making this happen, then when I did it, but I never screwed my customers over this badly. Goddamnit...The store finally lets me put in an international order to Australia, and they've sold out of Diggnation t-shirts.

And shipping is outrageous, $31.95! It forces you to order with "USPS Express Mail International". I'd rather pay less and wait longer for it to arrive. And no, I'm not worried about insurance, I'd risk it.

Zazzle.com charges:
$8.98 for USPS Standard Airmail (7 - 21 days) no tracking
$25.98 for Express (7 - 10 days) with tracking

Cafepress.com charges:
$6.00 for Economy (11-15 business days)

I just received the wrong merchandise for THE SECOND TIME.

I ordered two shirts over TWO MONTHS AGO and have still only received one of the right shirts. I paid EXTRA money to ship back the shirts that were wrong. At least they had the decency to waive the $5 re-stocking fee. They had to waive the 30 day return time too, because they can't even respond to email in a timely manner and have no phone number.

They managed to get one of them right this time, I almost feel like they might be learning something. And at least this time the wrong shirt was the price that I paid, last time it was a clearance shirt!

i just ordered march 25 and got my stuff today april 2 i paid 7 something for shipping which is way too much in my opinion (for a glass, which btw is totally worth the $, and 2 stickers which cost 13$)

my order was 100% right i got the diggnation pintglass and 2 stickers the revision3 sticker and the diggnation sticker... it was misleading cause in the store it says "Diggnation Stickers" so i thought id get atleast 2 or something but whatever.

I do want to see more pint glasses scam school, tekzilla, etc, even old shows i would totally buy a internet superstar pint glass.
