So my desktop turns on and when the windows loading screen comes up it act if it is loading then it restarts and never loads windows. Worked fine until today. Any idea what is causing the problem?

Kind of amazed no one replied......
Could be bad ram, corrupted windows files.........had a smiliar problem before.

I don't have much advice to offer, but maybe you can see if a mod can send this to the "windows" forum here on the boards.
did you try a system restore to before this happened
other than that a fresh install of the os

bad sectors on harddrive...today it won't even boot to the windows load screen. It says "boot failed press F1 to try again or press f2 for setup"

This sounds like that service pack three problem people were having last month. If you have downloaded it lately try going to a restore point before you did.

The problem was windows wouldn't boot not even in safe mode. I formatted and am reinstalling right now.
