Can our beloved hosts match these disasters? :) (And as a note, I'm not being serious about this stuff. I'm not disaster-prone, which I know is the fun of watching them! I' just showing off my mad cooking skilz.)
See, I was bored at about 2am last night, and I decided to make brownies. Sorry for the glare, but these are what I do when tired and I can't get to sleep:

They are from scratch, my own recipes. Fudgy with walnuts in mini bundt pans, drizzled with chocolate orange icing and sprinkles with hand-crushed (versus knife-chopped) walnuts. To get the orange flavoring, I extracted the oil from the peels of about two dozen oranges. Much easier than it sounds, AND I get to make OJ!
Earlier this year I made this cake.

Again, my own recipes, again, from scratch. FIVE layers of chocolate with raspberry preserves between the layers, topped with a thick layer or preserves. The frosting is hand-etched. After rimming the plate with preserves, I used fresh raspberries, mint leaves, and sliced almonds (I cheated and bough pre-sliced because it's insane to slice them yourself) to decorate.
