Hosed 2.5" HDD

Sup,

Had to junk my notebook because liquid and electronics

don't mix. The HDD survived (holding FreeBSD 6.1 STABLE), but

now it seems the partition table is missing. I fired up Knoppix

and run 'testdisk' but read errors are reported. Qtpart fails and

fdisk cannot find the missing table, however Knoppix detects

it as a usb drive and places an icon on the desktop. I've

changed the settings from 'read-only' but to no avail.

Any ideas'?

that's really weird...i have no clue what would be going on...the HD in one of my systems is ****ed too and any OS i put on it dies after about a day or 2...the last 2-3 days, i've been doing everything i need/want to do on a Ubuntu Live CD
