I dreamed that I was recruited to help shoot a special 4-5 minute episode of Web Drifter, kind of a teaser to tide people over until the new season started.
During the first part of the dream, the show was supposed to be about ghosts or something. It was getting dark where we were shooting, and we were worried about getting the lighting right, because nobody had remembered to bring a professional-grade camera. I had my $300 camera and somebody else had a more expense hand-cam. Which were both better alternatives to using the iSight on my MacBook Pro, which was the other option under consideration.
However, it became light out again, and instead of being about ghosts, the show had something to do with Dick Cheney, who was there. Martin was apparently taking a class under Cheney, because he asked Cheney if he could extend the deadline on some homework.
Someone decided to drive the car I'd gotten there in into the area just behind where we would be shooting from, where everybody was standing. So now everyone was panicking, trying not to get run over. Fortunately, the car (which I now seemed to be in) stopped.
I got out of the car and turned back toward the set, and saw what I thought was Dick Cheney with a shrunken head. It turned out to be in a woman an extremely bulky business-suit. She took it off, and was in a white blouse and slacks. I told he she reminded me of someone in a mech.
We were still worried about what to do about the camera, and my camera was messing up all sense of depth and making everything look like washed-out cardboard cutouts.
And that's when I woke up.
Now, Web Drifter's my favorite show on Revision 3, but I have to admit, this was kind of strange.
