Hawaiian is good ... also like fresh tomato, mushroom, ham (or canadian bacon), pineapple, and anchovie. Good pizza has anchovies :)

I'm a pizza purest. I like nearly every kind of pizza. But, my favorite is New York Style w/ onions, peppers, sausage, mushrooms and pepperoni.

However, also enjoy a Pizza Margarita prepared in the European style.

Kebab-Pizza all the way!

http://thecoredump.org/images/kebab_pizza-tm.jpg

It's kebab and sliced red onions on top of the regular ingredients. Not to forget, garlic-sauce on top of it all.

Fuck you diet, and fuck you health! I want pizza now :(

Dang masher, that pie looks good, considering it's almost lunch time.

The pizza you described sounds good but I'm not always in the mood for sausage, the other ingredients sound great.

I also like caramelized onions on a good pizza base. Not much else is needed other then good beer and friends.

We have been getting a white pizza with steak and spinach and either fresh tomato slices or banana peppers. The amazing thing is that it comes from a chain store and we don't like their traditional red pizza.

There is an Egyptian place also near us that has some non traditional pizzas as well. One that I like has marinated lamb, black olives, feta, red pepper chopped fine and a white sauce.

Yes, homemade is best but some days coming home from work or play it is just easier to order out.

The Australian is the best (you won't find it over there!)

Bacon, Egg, Prawns & Cheese.

So, so good.

Also, a quatro formagie (four cheeses) pizza is to die for (have too many any you probably will).

White Pizza tops the list for me though the standard meat-lover's pizza(sausage, pepperoni, etc.) would probably tie for second.

Not really sure you can get it in the US. You could however make your own? I could give you the recipe.

In Sweden there are pizzerias everywhere. Owned by Turk's. Ergo - Kebab.

I usually just get extra cheese. A well made pie doesn't need toppings.

Brings up the question of, what is a topping? Is cheese a topping? What about extra sauce? Herbs and spices one may sprinkle on a pie?

I agree a good cheese pie is enjoyable but sometimes we WANT something more.

there's this knack that Albany (yes, albany) had for the bacon-tomato pizza. You gotta get super thin slices of tomato and the bacon MUST be on top of that, but damned if no one on the west coast can seem to do it properly (closest I had was from Cybella's in the Inner Sunset yesterday).

Pizza is crust, sauce and cheese. Anything else is a topping so the herbs and spices might qualify, although I consider them seasonings.

Few chains actually taste good. This place does. http://www.justpizzausa.com/menu.asp Many years back when I was still up in the frozen North we discovered this place. Whenever we go to visit family we get some pizza from this place and bring it back.

gimpbully, do you mean Albany GA or NY?

Pepperoni and mushroom or ham and pineapple.

Pepperoni and onion. Thin crust sometimes and thick crust never. If I wanted to eat something super doughy I'd just eat bread. ;)

Is that Syracuse? I played Syracuse and it was actually a really great dome, tent top arena.

And when I was downstairs in the campus Sheraton bar, a girls softball team checked in... good times.

SUNY is the Sate University of New York system. Syracuse is a private school and not part of the State owned and run college and university system.

As for that dome, it's funding caused lots of heated arguments. The state gave a private school, Syracuse, the majority of money for the stadium but they were telling local officials in other cities that the sate had no money to assist in upgrading publicly owned facilities.

It was quite a nice arena for a school arena - frontside, backstage was pretty low-tech, average.

Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and black olives...

Living in South Carolina leaves my pizza options fairly limited, but Pop's isn't bad. I was first taken there by a New Yorker, so I guess that says something.

ewwwwwww. Deep dish pizza is not pizza, it's like pizza soup! I can't stand it.

I am a sucker for good old Ray's pizza here in nyc.

Or Two Boots pizza, they're amazing

Lots of cheese, peperoni and mushrooms. The sauce has to be tangy and the cheese has to be from skim milk.

Or, spinach and 3 cheese.

Ray's isn't technically a pizza. It is its own food group.
