Your show rocks!!! I'm wondering if you have a good recipe for meatballs? I tried making them the other day and they ended up tasting like leaves mixed with cow patties. I don't think they're supposed to taste like that.

I think you have a great idea here. Should be simple for them and the cooking challenged to do.

Should they also do a sauce?

Should they also do a sauce? If a meatball doesn't have sauce, it is little better than a glorified burger patty.

My wife has an interesting twist on meatballs where the meatball is rolled in uncooked rice, then simmered in tomato soup. If you can excuse the really bad 1990's HTML, there is a link to something similar here (http://www.aberdeen-angus.com/kids.html)

Ha, that's funny and true.

My wife has a recipe for Swedish meatballs that is awesome. But then again if you been reading any of my posts you will have noticed that the words "wife, recipe, and awesome" are in the same sentence.

My favorite recipe:
2 bags meatballs from Sam's Club or Costco
1 small jar spaghetti sauce
1 jar grape jelly

Mix and throw in a crock pot for a couple hours.

Prepare your favorite pasta sauce. Then, prepare the

Spicy Meatballs

1 lb. ground sirloin
1/4 lb. ground lamb
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley
1/4 cup grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
2 eggs
1 tablespoon habanero powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon salt

Mix together and shape into meatballs.

In a cast iron skillet, brown the meat balls in olive oil. When browned, simmer in your pasta sauce for 20 minutes.

Now, serve the spicy meatballs over linguini or your favorite pasta.
Here (http://www.thehotpepper.com/showthread.php?t=891) is where I got the recipe, I used hab sauce in place of the powder since I could not find the powder. Good stuff.

My mom and my girlfriends mom make equally awesome meatballs. Sweet and sour meatballs are my favorite thing in the world, and I am deff. getting the recipe before I move out at the end of summer.

Yeah I have noticed grape jelly in a few recipes for sweet and sour type meatballs, but I have yet to try them. Sounds like it would either be horrible or amazing.
