Nothing too rad to report yet. But the summer is still young. ;)

Wait.....the Diggnation live show in NYC was in June, but I guess that counts as Spring. Anyway.......more to come soon. :D

Live Diggnation was pretty rad.

The Raddest Thing I'm doing all summer is flying out to Chicago Aug 1st for Lollapalooza. 3 days, 120 bands, 60,000 people in Grant Park. Mainly, Radiohead, RAGE, Kanye West, The Raconteurs, The Black Keys etc. Then a buddy and I are catching a Cubs game before flying home and seeing Kanye West's Glow in the Dark Tour in NY.

Should be an epic few days.

i've finally got back into playing hockey. which is rad in itself, but also i play at kettler iceplex where the Washington Capitals practice and the administrative offices are. I've randomly bumped into a few players, Coach B, and the GM. Also the NYC meet-up was rad.

My friends and I have been hitting the theater every week to see some movies, but the really rad thing is that the theater we attend has the Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter Cabinet. We've been playing that machine after every movie for much longer than the films we see have actually run, and have gotten very good. It's really rad to play a classic 2d fighting game at a very high level of skill.

Had quarter final tickets for Euro 2008, so spend a week in vienna watching football, getting drunk and partying with fans from around the world. Good times, good times.

I was part of setting about 100 acres of grass fields on fire. 30 foot flames, keeping it under control. It was beautiful.

Don't worry, the owners were involved. That was just outside Lawrence, KS.

Also visited SanFrancisco for the first time. Didn't see any Rev3 celebrities..but had a great time anyways.

I'd been up and down the east coast and Gulf Coast, but these were my first jaunts west of the Mississippi River.

I kayak from X to X (On PEI there is a little strip of sand dunes a few miles out from mainland PEI).

The day usually consists of: sand dune climbing, swimming, chip eating, fire making and kite flying.

I thought that was sky diving and how that's a horrible landing spot, haha.

Raddest thing I'm doing... is taking a day off work to catch the Dark Knight. Other than that, I have nothing big going on. I've reached a new level of lazy this summer.

what a good question to ask. what crappy answers i have lol.

Been in work mode so the highlight of my summer is i bought a new PC and just built it and got WoW going which i havent logged much less played in over a year. Fun to have PC gaming back in my life. Tried Tabula Rasa, EQ2, WoW, Eve and skipped AoC. So far WoW is the most fun. Oh and TF2 :)

Anyway, hope for better next summer.

God Bless, I don't know how old you are but my old man has quit smoking has gone about three months so far. He's really irritable but we couldn't be prouder. Just keep it up and realize that changing behaviors is probably one of the most difficult things you have to overcome.

For sure. I know how hard it is. Since February I have managed to lose 32 lbs. I still have a long ways to go and it certainly hasn't been easy you just have to realize that you're making yourself a better person for it.

I bought my first new car ever. I have been driving my old one since I graduated high school 8 years ago and it was about ready to die.

My new car is a 2008 Mercury Milan. I love this car.

Got the Microsoft Sync system in it works great with my blackberry and my Zune. I have drove it down to the beach and it was a blast all the way.

Payments suck but that's the price you pay I guess.

gm wil:
I didn't take specific pictures but you can definitely tell. I started working for this radio station in November of last year and I couldn't even button my staff shirt that was given to me...now it's loose. I'm wearing jeans that I hadn't worn since I was a sophomore in college (3 years ago) and everything just fits nicer.

Confidence is still an issue but it's an everyday process and this is more about health than anything.

dolson:
Maid of the Mist is pretty rad, I went like 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. It was a bummer that in Canada drink specials are illegal unless the bar offers it full-time. I won some money at one of the casinos up there. Overall a rad place indeed.

Well, I tried fencing for the first time. I am also starting archery this weekend, its been since high school since I have done that.

Oh, and this might come across a little insensitive, but I am single again for the first time since 1997. The divorce was final last Monday and the kid is already trying to plan who I should date. Thank God the guys live miles and miles away or else I am positive he would be doing all sorts of hilarious for others/embarrassing for me, things.

But honestly, the thing I am waiting for is taking the kid, and several of his friends, to go see the midnight showing of Dark Knight. I love Batman. I mean I really love him. I am pretty positive it would be classified as unhealthy the obsession I have.

Otherwise, my summer haas been boring.

Went to the beach with my girlfriend, down along the gulf coast of Alabama. Wonderful place, tons of little seafood shacks to eat at, with great weather. Apparently, it was a little early in the tourist season because the beaches were barely populated.

Anyway...one night, we went out on the beach (which was deserted) and just sat there for a while, enjoying each other's company. Then, all of a sudden, someone down the beach started setting off a fairly nice fireworks display. And that's when she turned to me and said, "You know, if Edwin McCain showed up and started playing 'I'll Be', this could be the season finale of The O.C.".

If I had a ring, I would have proposed to her right then and there.

Saw Radiohead a month back in Houston. It was good, though it wasn't as mind blowing as the previous two times I saw them, though it was still better than when I saw them opening for REM.

I saw the Cure almost a month ago in Austin. I'd seen them once before many years back in New Orleans from the 4th row. I didn't imagine that there could be any way the new show could compare with that one, but it was probably an even better show. I don't know how they've managed to stay so amazing.

The highlight of my summer was seeing Tom Waits in Houston a couple of weeks back. I can't even begin to explain how incredible that experience was. It was so worth the $100 ticket and the 5 hours of driving that afterwards I tried to get another $100 ticket for the show in Dallas the next night.

The raddest thing I did this summer was drive up Conor Pass, Irelands highest mountain pass on the beautiful west coast. It was a total thrill speeding up the two lane road (one lane drivable with a small shoulder for pulling over, usually..but not always) with amazing scenery on both sides (and my friend next to me screaming "THEY WOULD NEVER ALLOW A ROAD LIKE THIS IN THE U.S.!!" at the top of her lungs)
At one point there is the last place to stop before the road gets white-knuckle hard, I took out my camera and switched it on then off. There was just no way I would ever be able to bring a picture back that could capture the experience. (Read that Hawaii dude?) Yeah, I got a little blurry eyed, said hi to some sheep and ran my fingers under a waterfall and moved on, white knuckled and heart racing to Dingle town below and a couple of well deserved Pints. A girl from WI really can't get much better than that.
Conor Pass: Some people took pictures (http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=conor+pass+ireland) (there is even a video of someone driving, kinda rad in itself!!)

so far this summer i been rocking out in a 7 foot tall inflatable cow costume.... i am on a quest to become a professional mascot... a friend of mine has an LGBT friendly youth Club event, where he rents out a club from the owner and runs a dry bar. Kids 15+ go there and see what the Clubs are like, while in a safe environment, enjoying the beats, seeing female impersonators... and yours truly rocking it out in the cow!!!

I bust it out on the dancefloor or roam around with my mp3 player and battery powered speakers under my suit and start partying it up in the middle of an unsuspecting crowd... i have also wrapped 3lbs of glowsticks connected end to end around myself.... and in the last event (aquatic themed) i was kicked it up a notch with a inflatable tube around my waist, a dive mask and snorkel... and a icy cold spray bottles of water in each hand... there was no A/C and the dance floor was nearly 120 degrees F and i was dancing and misting the whole dancefloor.... It was a wicked awesome time
