K, I thought I'd just toss this out there to see if anybody is looking for any writers for gaming sites and/or blogs or just needs somebody in the know who's dedicated to gaming and the gaming industry. I try my best to keep up on all the latest news.

Consoles I own:

Genesis
Game Gear
Dreamcast
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advance
PSP (Hacked)
Playstation
Playstation 2
Playstation 3

I thought it would be worth a shot. :)

If anybody has any questions just respond to this thread or send me a PM.

Good luck, I'm still waiting to hear back about jobs from certain gaming sites. Pretty much same thing I do as well blog, features, etc. Ain't easy is my advice. Unless we could pool our efforts into our own gaming site. May make for an interesting site if a bunch of us got together on it. Plus good way to get some experience. If anyone would like an editor/designer/writer/production hit me up :D

Hey man, sounds cool. I'd be up for a joint effort of some sort. I am up for a position on a certain site (a good chance) but we'll see where things go from there. But yeah, that would be cool, several people with a passion could really get somethin' goin'.

Pick a game, or a news story like the Diablo 3 announcement, and write a 250-300 word piece about it, then post it here so we can gauge your writing ability.

I run an Australian-based gaming website - SlicedGaming.com. Where do you live?

It's hardly a "job" - we don't pay you - but if you stick around and contribute often, you'll get some free games ahead of release. We could use a bit of a news guy, so if you follow the industry a lot, that could work out quite well even if you don't live in Australia.

If this is what you were talking about, you could send me a writing sample to nick 'press shift and then the two key here' slicedgaming.com. Check out the site's review policy (http://www.slicedgaming.com/document.php?content=9) first.

I've got no problem with that. Although I might have to pick a different game or topic cause Diablo really isn't my cup of tea if ya know what I mean. But that's a good idea, I will definitely get something together.

I'm in New Jersey. Sounds cool, I'll definitely check out your site. :)

EDIT - I really like your grading scale! Not bad!

Sounds like an interesting idea. I may get in on that myself. Been awhile since I've updated mine, but its http://blogging.davehansenonline.com/ and my main site is http://davehansenonline.com/ which definitely needs some retooling. Any suggestions?
