Idea for a new Segment.

Ok I know I'm new here, but I have what I think is a great Idea for the guys.

A Retro Section. They reference so much retro stuff anyway.

Just every week pick a great Movie, Game, Comic or TV show of yesteryear for the faithful followers to check out. Some because we missed it and some just because they where not born yet.

Also have a great name for it how about "Back to the Rad"

Good idea. Although it might detract from the sidestep stories. Which usually are the most entertaining bits in a show.

I disagree, I think it will cause them. You know the whole back in the day effect.

If they segregate the retro material then they'll feel somewhat obligated to not bring it up in other parts of the show which would in my mind reduce the quality of their normal segments.

what I was thinking was not a complete full segment more like a mini segment like something to do at the end. Could even be something voted on by the fans. So maybe it would not be something they would have previously talked about but a whole separate thing unto itself. I would really like to see it as something that would spark conversation certainly and not stifle it. I certainly would not want them to put all Retro material in its own section by any means, only highlight one thing a week they remember fondly from their past.

I kinda feel like they do that already. Clash of the Titans is in my netflix solely because of their reference to it

To be honest it sounds like a good idea. I don't really like retro stuff but it would still be interesting on the show. A mini-segment would be perfect as it wouldn't derail the rest of the show.

They need to have a Netflix sponsored pick of the week though like PopSiren and Tekzilla. They could at least do that instead just Dan saying a couple recommendations inside of his sponsor pitch.

I like the idea but i dont want them to stop bring up classic stuff in normal reviews of movies an what not, cause i love when they bring stuff up randomly

I agree they do, but this would give them a section to highlight something like clash of the titans and expound on it a little more. Instead of just mentioning it in passing. But I would not want that to stop them from mentioning it in the first place. Just a little area where they can stop and show some clips from the mentioned material and go in detail on it instead of actually derailing the show to do so.
