Any good sites? I give up trying to find the wines gary has reviewed. There has to be a good place to look them up and order them.

There are "buy" links on his site here: http://corkd.com/
And there are other alternatives... wine.com, bountyhunterwine.com

They have a great selection of wine (and beer), tastings on Sat/Sun, and instore events. Its worth a look.

Thnx guys. Great idea token, i didnt even think of going to a tasting or something, thats a pretty rad idea.

Thnx for the link to the wine library too. I checked the site and i guess i missed it. I would really like to give gary some cash anyway, so that works. Just wait for a real good one at a good price and will treat myself :)

Thnx again guys, getting ready to try my first wine. 13 bucks from the local supermarket liquor store, lord help me. But gotta start some place eh? :)

Whatdya get? (Vineyard, Varietal - ie what type of grapes, Year).

Before you plan on buying, find out if it is legal in your state. In MD it is illegal to get wine direct shipped. There are other states that don't allow direct shipping as well.

www.winesearcher.com is a pretty good starting point when you don't know where else to look or looking for a price estimate. Be careful because there are some online stores that are obviously not storing the wine right, etc... I rarely buy wine online but am starting to do more and more as time goes on and I find reliable merchants. Some that I've found are great:

http://www.wineconn.com/ is pretty impressive (although that comes recommended - I haven't used it myself yet...)
http://www.sokolin.com/shop/default.asp (check their prices... he can mark 'em up as well as the next guy but sometimes has some rare stuff)
http://www.rarewineco.com/
http://www.grapesthewineco.com/ (Get on the email list but check prices...)
http://www.garagistewine.com (Get on the email list - mostly small, organic, low-yielding producers but gets a nice variety and lots of affordable stuff... be patient on delivery... takes forever but has highest provenance and will not ship in bad weather)

I should also note that so far I've had a good experience with Wine Library (Gary's store)... Have not used their online offerings but so far email and the phone have been great with them. I haven't taken delivery on any of my bottles yet but we've secured about 40 of the 101 wines in Gary's book. If anyone's tasted any I've started a discussion here: http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20082

I don't understand why I can get wine shipped from WineWoot as well as from various Napa sources but not from winelibrary.com? I am in WI and know that it's legal to ship here..since I have been getting wine shipped for quite a few years.
I had all this great stuff in my cart and THEN looked.
Foolish girl. :(

Shipping laws are annoying.. it could be a New Jersey law thing...

Also, if you find something you like, a lot of the wineries have mailing lists - get on them, and you can get a heads up of offerings before they are sold out to the distributors.
