These movies aren't all the same and I think this one will be more like Robin Hood Men in Tights and Hot Shots and less like Date Movie and Scary Movie's 3 and 4. I thought the first two were hilarious by the way. I also thought this trailer looked pretty awesome production wise, if the writing is good I'll enjoy downloading it 3 months after it hits the theaters. Oh yeah, the redhead in the film is really ****ing cute.

I liked Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2, loved the Hot Shots movies. Airplane is great as well.

But Scary Movie 3+4 and Date Movie. Jesus ****ing christ, that's just terrible filmmaking.
It's the same jokes over and over again, and the ideas are terrible.

I don't know who left or who got hired during, but cleary you should get whoever left back, and kill whoever got hired.

They could make this ****ing movie. This could be a funny thing, if someone else was doing it.

Airplane! doesn't hold up. Naked Gun is still okay though.

I think with these types of comdies it's allways the one you get introduced to first that you'll like best. Personally I loved all the Naked gun films best, and police squad was even better I though as it still worked on pur absurdity.

I actually liked the 3rd Scary movie best, but 4 was probably the worst. I also didn't like date movie, and although anything with the Zuckers behind the name I usually like, but I seriously don't see that appeal that everyone seems to have for Airplain.

Oh and my fave Mel Brooks film is Spaceballs :)

With this trailer though what I don't like is that it justlampoons anything without a coherent plot. I liked Not another teen movie as it didn't lampoon American Pie as much as I thought and for a guy who's totally into the teen comedy shlick it was good to see the nod to the 80s flicks too. I suppose that's what works with Scary movie is that it sticks to one theme.

The quality of movies which make it to the theatres are deteriorating dramatically. Its so sad really...

But these type of movies are aimed at teenagers who don't know any better and those of us who enjoy a cheap laugh and something to waste time while drinking or getting high. So many people can't get enough of these...but I agree, the jokes are lame and its a real slap in the face to those film makers who struggle to release decent movies and such rubbish is released so easily...

I could see going to see this for a matinée, or possibly a rental if you had a coupon... but who is paying full price to see these movies? They must be making money or they wouldn't keep making them, right?

I hated Date Movie and Scary Movie 1, 2, and 4. 3 was alright. And this movie by no means looks good, but I'll probably see it. They've got Stephen from Nacho Libre!!! Plus the movies they're spoofing are the ones I know I loved. I never saw Narnia though, and that looks like a key plot point in Epic Movie. Ha, I said plot and Epic Movie in the same sentence.

I'll see it on DVD, won't like it, and then watch it again when my friend tells me he hasn't seen it. That's how it's going down.
