Have you heard about Google's Lively? Read about it here (http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/07/08/google-launches-virtual-world-called-lively/).
I've created a room to try it out, which you're more than welcome to try out.
Check out the room. (http://www.lively.com/dr?rid=6009082365641699941)

I just signed up. I can go in the room, but I can't do much else. Hell, it even gave me trouble selecting an avatar.

I would join, but they have a bias against Macs.

Too many crashes and the avatar selection sucks and each can only wear certain clothes and stuff.

Yay. Yet another social networking site. Wonder how that will work wth the agregators.
Does anyone have any "real" friends anymore?

I tried that once, but do you know how BORING it is to play World of Warcraft without a computer. BEING an Ogre is not as cool as DRESSING UP like an Ogre.
... Can you even be an Ogre in WoW? I've never tried the game.

Why is there so much clothes that none of the avatars can wear?

I bought an underwater superhero lair. I'm in the process of decorating it, and making myself into a supervillain. Dare to dream.
Still, IMVU (which I'm guessing is what Google is trying to compete with) makes a better 3D chat. Mind you, this is still in the Beta stages, and with more selection and a bit of refining it could definitely be the better of the two.
But in the end, I have no intention of using either.

Yeah, tried IMVU but from what I remember it was a program while this is more of a plugin, so it's cool in that aspect, being able to embed on a page. But still kinda crappy. I'm the rasta-zombie in there right now.

I was seeing if there was away to turn off that TRS vid without getting rid of it and accidentally removed it so I replaced it with another video and tv. :D
