Epic Fu in HD?

I don't know about you guys, but I really would like to see Epic Fu in HD if possible. I use the HD link for all the other Rev3 Shows I watch, so, it would be nice.

Yes, we'll be offering that soon. The truth is that it's just three of us producing the show in Los Angeles... not in the Rev3 studios... so our equipment isn't as fancy. ;) At least now you know what can be done with three people and a lot of coffee. heh. :)

We're making a strong effort to upgrade our equipment. We'll post an update as soon as it's available in HD. Thx!

Yes! We are working out way toward HD. It may not be for a few weeks, though. One of our big challenges, in addition to getting a better editing rig in this muther, is that we are in Los Angeles and Rev3 is in San Francisco. That means we need to upload our raw DV files (or what will be HDV when we convert) to their servers for transcoding.

With our DV files, it's typically about 1.3GB per show. When we go to HD that'll be, well, fugghedaboudit. You can imagine how big the files will be.

So we also need a major bandwidth upgrade for our upstream deliveries. Right now we're maxed out in our area for upstream options at only 768kbps.

Once we get the hardware figured out, the second part will be to get the bandwidth figured out. But these are all minor road bumps on the path to HD, baby!

Well, It's great news to hear that it is coming. Sorry about the double post BTW, I did a search for "Epic Fu in HD" and got no results somehow...
