I am very happy to announce that the official iFanBoy endorsed title in Small Press Idol 2008, The Adventures of Spud, has moved onto round three. We finished a strong fourth place with 233 votes and are currently hard at work on a three page sequential preview. Voting for round 3 begins May 28th and I will be posting links to our voting threads on Dimestore once our page is up. You can vote once per day through June 8th and Mark Oakley and I absolutely appreciate your support. We have some great stuff planned for the little guy if we win so please lend your support. Any style or medium is acceptable so grab those crayons or mixed media and get coloring! Just like Spud himself, creativity is key to standing out in this contest and it will be duly rewarded. Just wanted to say a big thanks to the iFanBoy community for their support of The Adventures of Spud. Particular shutouts to Ron and Conor for being a hugely supportive in both of my attempts to win the contest the last two years. We finished second place, but had a very strong showing all contest. We'll be taking a little time to relax, enjoy the end of summer (Mark will be enjoying Spring back in his native Oz again) as we decide where to take the little guy next.

Our Small Press Idol #0 issue is still available for pre-sale and ships in September 08, so please grab a copy. It's funny read and I know you'll enjoy it. Thanks once again. See ya guys out there.
