View Full Version : So i just beat gears of war

That game was awesome. I had one major problem with it though is that the difficulty of the bosses were very inconsistent. All the bosses except for Raam were far too easy. within 1-4 mintues you could beat em' but it took me 3 hours and lots of luck to beat raam. Big problem that is. :). Also the game is way too short.. Oh well still the greatest looking game ever.

I don't know who "sacre" is, but that's the Gary Jules version. Tears for Fears originally did it, though.

i downloaded the gary jules version, and his didnt souund like it. the one by sacre was the donny darko version, also the version used in the video. im not at home right now, so im prolly spelling it wrong. go look on itunes, i got the song legally lol.

Yeah, it's definitely not the Sacre one. On iTunes, it says it's by Michael Andrews, because that's who did the soundtrack, but it's Gary Jules singing.
It looks like that Sacre band just does covers of TV and movie themes for crummy K-Tel-style collections.

There's an alternate version of this song on the soundtrack that sounds a bit different. That might've been what you got.

yeah, every version sucks except for the Tears For Fears one. It's so ****ing good. It's one of those songs that had the "oh i didn't know this was a cover" effect with a lot of stupid good looking girls, that sort of added a then even heavier tone of "wow, i don't like talking to you"ness to the conversation on my behalf.
