Hoping might be able to help with a little issue I've been having. I've been gettin some artifacting when palying WoW and just wanted to know what might be causing it. I'm using a Geforce 7900 GTO. I play in a window so that when it happens, I can minimize then maximize the window. This gets rid of it for a little while. I have the latest drivers I could find off Nvidia's site.

Graphics card over heating? Get a can of air and dust that thing!

Forgot to mention. If you dust it off, and you are sure it's no longer over heating. When it did over heat it probably permanently damaged the RAM (rather than the GPU), and when ever that part of memory is used it messes up what ever happens to be in it. I have a 7900GTX that did some thing similar.

What was particularly fun was it would corrupt not only 3D stuff but 2D stuff as well, on both the Windows and Linux desktop there was yellow pixels that would corrupt other pixels.

Eventually I replaced it with a 9800GTX.
