Well I was googling and I found this forum, and its way more active than the official videolan forum, and I saw that lots of people know about VLV Media Player. Is there a way to get theater mode for it?

theater mode? Do you mean fullscreen? If so, just right click on the video and then click "fullscreen" If not, then please elaborate more.

Honestly, I only use VLC for some formats that I don't want to install the codecs for and I don't use too often, like mkv or ogg.

Theater, as in, its fullscreen, so you cant see the window edges and what not, but the size is original, not like, double or anything.

Or you can double click the video window.

Theater Mode is a thing with dual monitors, it is not application specific but works with any media player.

Yea well to get that, double click. Simple.

If you want the dual fullscreen thing, It's not a Media player setting.

You can't span across multiple monitors unless you are using overlay to print the screen, which idk if vlc will do. I know you cant use hardware acceleration across multiple monitors so you're probably limited to xvid or or other low cpu codecs. Mpeg-2 and h264 are definitely out.

No, theatermode as in Realplayer, Where when you click fullscreen the video itself doesnt have to be fullscreen... As in, you can choose what size the video is, and the rest of teh screen is black. (you may ask why I don't just use realplayer... well it wont work with it...)

What purpose do you want to do this for? Is it for a presentation or something. Knowing why you want to do something will help alot I think, following this topic, I still don't see what you are talking about. What format is the video in? What do you want to do? What purpose does it serve? Are you trying to export the video to another monitor? Are you using a projector? Do you just want to watch this clip in your primary monitor without the taskbar visible, like your monitor is a tv? You could insert the video into a powerpoint presentation with a black background if it is mpeg, avi may work also. Try to be more specific, even if you use words.

I think he is trying to ask how to change the Aspect Ratio
