I found it pretty fun hearing so much gaming coverage on This Week in Tech and it was great hearing veronica on there.
One thing I would like to note was Leo asking if anyone saw Blizzard at E3. No one did because they did not set up a display. Activision Blizzard left the ESA about a month before E3 launched, and subsequently chose not to participate in E3.
With a number of companies leaving the ESA, a few of them pretty big players, they also chose not to participate, so a number of big displays were not at E3.

When I heard Gamer chics (or whatever the microsoft thing is called), I had a feeling Veronica wouldn't like it. On the other hand I'm not a fan of the "for Men" stuff either.
Edit: I just saw this from Don who was also on the show "http://news.cnet.com/8301-13506_3-9986327-17.html". I think I came from the final generation of girls who didn't game. Those that are just a few years younger have a high percentage of girl gamers and it's growing.

I'm actually a member of GamerChix.... I like what they've been doing. Those girls are pretty badass, and it's more of a reclaiming of the word "chicks" than being condescending.

It was a good twit but I do hope this was the last e3 ever,e3 is terrible anymore.
Was surprised Major Nelson did not bring up that this gen Xbox 360 is also the #1 console for RPGS.(something surprisingly PS3 seriously lacks)
Also Wii has actually sold the most software,it broke PS2's record of first year software sales where PS2 had 42 million and Wii sold 50 million.(setting a record, and they left out the Wii series games.)
As to women being gamers, that is no surprise I think.
I often go to video game themed parties and many women show up as well as guys and play.
We usually play games like Halo3 Cod4 Guitar Hero and various Wii games.
