Does anybody know of video editing software that:
Is free
Can edit .mov and other apple video formats
Is good
Is for windows.

unless you can or do use Linux, the only semi-decent free one is VirtualDub, i personally say go and pirate Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas or Apple Final Cut Pro....or run linux and use one of the free, open source Linux video editing apps

I was going to say iMovie, but you're obviously not a Mac user. Doesn't windows come with an equivilent?

Nah, it only edits .wmv files.

I use Sony Vegas , but since you want free i would suggest Avid DV http://www.avid.com/freedv/ its free and it will get you used to the GUI of a pro NLE

I didn't know AVID did this. This is cool and although not posted for me thanks :) I normally use final cut.

I use Premiere Pro 1.5 on the PC and Final Cut Pro on the Mac...i love them both...

seriously, just pirate it. It doesn't sound like you're going to use it very much, so morally yer ok. And all those free ones for windows suck.
