Battlestar Galactica

(PLEASE NO SPOILERS IN RESPONSES)

I have been watching Battlestar Galactica I know, I'm way late to the game). I have thoroughly enjoyed what I've seen thus far, and it has lived up to all the hype. However, I just finished season 2.5 and now I am disgusted and don't want to watch any more (similar to the end of The Shield Season Five).

Question: For those who have watched until current episodes, did anyone else really get annoyed with the turn that was taken at the end of Season 2.5 My wife and I are on the first disc of Season Three, and I'm writing this post because I don't really want to watch any more.

Does it get back on track or am I crazy for thinking it ever derailed?

I hated it, but at least you have the benefit of being able to watch through the next few eposides quickly. And in the end, I was much more grateful that they had the balls to do something like that.

Personally think it's not worth it.
It just ends up dragging on then teases and drags the series some more and repeat.

But probably in the minority here at rev3.

I've been less and less impressed as the show has progressed. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure I need to see what happens next when the new season starts. Not enough payoff for all the teasing that's been going on.

Well, IMHO, I have to say that you should at least watch Episodes 1-4 of Season 3.

I love the show. I don't really get down on it when it breaks into these little lulls. It's really been a pattern through the series. Big plot shift, then a lull... a lull that leads to another big plot shift, then another lull... I love the big moments. I love the show and can't wait for season 4.5.

The show started off really strong for me but now after catching up. It just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. I said in another thread but the whole apollo and starbuck relationship turns me off to the whole show.
