I bet there has been such a thread in the past. But I assume our posters will change in our living spaces bedroom or office. So what posters or paintings or whatever painted onto your walls do you have?

I just revived my Matrix poster from 1999. Very memorable as well for me. I remember it was after watching the movie in sydney, we got home iand it started to hail. Worse hail storm ever in 50 years in Sydney I think.

There is also a A3 poster of Jessica Alba in a bikini from 'Into the Blue'. I bet that confuses my parents, they think I'm a lesbian then...hmmm..

So your turn:D

My room is ****ing insane.

On one wall there's a whole bunch of graffiti (some of mine, some of my friends).

The next wall my archetype artist (long hair, goes to pratt, thinks he has better music taste than everyone alive) cousin did one wall of original stuff, a rose and praying hands on the other.

The last two walls are filled with poetry and rhymes I've written over the years (cos I'm nice like that son!!!!)

When it comes to posters, I have a bunch of collages by Michael Albert. I have pictures of friends and relatives.. And the most awesome, and possibly the gayest, thing I have in my room is an autographed picture of Chris Carrabba from Dashboard Confessional that says, "Thanks Paul". My mom is friends with his wife.

I think that cover's most of it.

My office is nerded up pretty good. I've got some black foam board that I've pegged my Batman action figures to hanging on the walls. I've got the Hush line, Alex Ross' Justice, Yamoto imports, and misc. Mattel figures. There's a little book case with my Marvel legends and Clerks figures and a few graphic novels. I use to collect a lot of crap but it all met the eBay fate a few years ago and this is all I saved. There's Jim Lee Batman and Superman framed posters hanging in my living room with big Back to the Future and Spider-Man plastic sheets they use for the illuminated light boxes at some theaters and stores.

I have a 2 meter tall Jungle Book 2 poster and a bunch of my drawings I stick up, which is a rescent thing.

Back in the day when I worked in a studio and had a cubicle I stuck it up a bunch of Lilo and Stitch stuff, and SpongeBob squarepants aswell as Baby pictures of my Brother, so people thought I had a kid.

In High School I was in love with Elle McPherson and I had pictures of her all over my wall :)

I dont have posters and such at the crib mostly photos, but at the studio i have my Alex Ross signed G Force poster, a life size stand up of Speed Racer, Voltron and 2 stand ups of our own characters, a Blade of the Immortal poster, some original comic pages from my boy Jim Mahfood, my signed and licked poster of Lisa Raye, my poster of Stacy Dash and my various cd cover designs.

Ah... for me, I have only two posters, just because I want my room to kind of look mature or something... but I have a DnD poster and a Trailer Park Boys poster. =P

My boyfriend has more posters... A Love Hina wallscroll, a El Hazard 2 wallscroll, 3 Lindsay Lohan posters and one Lindsay Lohan calendar, and an ITG2 poster..

I have a bunch of posters I've had since I was younger. A couple simpsons ones, band ones including Nirvana and Rage Against the Machine (it has a burning buddhist, and that's awesome), and a 5 foot tall Clockwork Orange poster from the British rerelease in 2000.

But none of those are hung up because I moved into this new place a few months ago, and the guy who used to have this room must've been psychotic, because there are nails EVERYWHERE. So I've just started hanging stuff on the nails, like my terrycloth "dude" robe, my keys, pens, sunglasses, towels... pretty much anything else that I dont have a convenient place for (no room for a desk).

I also write a lot of random stuff, so I have lots of college ruled paper scattered about the walls so I can keep track of it instead of leaving it in a notebook or something.

Oh, and I have a few comics hung up. Most notably Incredible Hulk 34 (I accidentally bought this not realizing it was 22 bucks. I had gotten 3 weeks worth of comics on one trip, and the price only seemed slightly higher.), Daredevil 26 (bendis' first issue), Action Comics (the first Richard Donner one that just came out), and I Feel Sick #1 by Jhonen Vasquez (gotta represent the indy comics!). Also, they aren't bagged and boarder, I impaled them on the nails.

(I seriously hope you dont think I'm serious about that last comment)

Lol!! POsters falling off the wall when too cold. Happened to me so many times. It was like in the middle of the night and my Matrix photo falls onto me. Scared the crap out of me!! And it continued to do that every few nights...ugh. Hence, the removal of posters from my walls for a few years

I have a framed, signed print of Neil Gaiman's short story 'A Study in Emerald'. Other than that, not much right now. I don't have enough wall space!

I've been taking down my posters recently because they make the room feel smaller I think. Right now my Brick, Lost, Snakes on a Plane (have it because it looks cool, never even saw the movie) and Aqua Teen posters remain. For how long is anyone's guess.

Lots of Posters: Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man (art by Humberto Ramos), Spider-Man (first movie), Batman Begins, Superman Returns, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Anna Kournikova, Kim Smith, Kelly Hu (she was in X2 ;) ), Serial Experiments Lain, Bleach, Elfen Lied, Gundam

Other geek stuff: Superman calender of Jim Lee artwork (For Tomorrow storyline), giant Spider-Man cutout, 12 inch Spawn statue, 12 inch Venom statue (#12 of 2500), metal-work statue of Don Quixote, and some of my own art... hand drawn picture of Lime from Saber Marionette J, and a painting I did of Spike from Cowboy Bebop.

I'm debating whether or not I should bother posting up photos of my stuff. I don't know if anyone would really be interested in that.

I've got a ton of posters and stuff on my walls. A while back I decided I was going to take a lot of it down and put what I decided to keep in frames (an expensive procedure). I just wanted my walls to look cleaner and classier instead of just being covered in posters. Cut to a couple of months later, I've got a lot of new cool stuff that I had to put up so now my walls are again covered. At least now everything is in frames and in order.

Movie Posters:

Bubba Ho Tep (Signed by Bruce Campbell, Joe R. Landsdale, Don Coscarelli)
Dawn of the Dead (Signed by Ken Foree)
Dogma (Signed by Kevin Smith)
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (Signed by Kevin Smith)
The Fountain (Signed by Darren Aronofsky)
A Midnight Clear (Signed by Kevin Dillon and Arye Gross, got this as a gift from my parents years ago. Never even seen the movie)
Sin City
Kill Bill
Resevoir Dogs
Mallrats (Blueprint Replica)
Star Wars Plaque with small posters for all 6 movies along with Film Cells

Comics:

The Boys (Signed by Darick Robertson)
Two Limited Edition Strangers In Paradise Prints (signed by Terry Moore)
Walking Dead Art Print (Signed by Tony Moore)
Several signed Penny Arcade Posters and Sketches
Wonder Woman

Television:

Home Movies (Signed by Brendan Small and Loren Brouchard)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast picture (signed by James Marsters)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer poster

Misc.:

Mickey Mouse drawing from Disney staff artist
Transformers pillow case I've had since I was a kid
Picture of Ash signed by Bruce Campbell
Signed Cam De Leon art print
Signed Tenacious D poster

And that's it for posters (seems like a lot when I write it down like that).

Clockwise from the top left: Portrait of Gman, speed reading flyer that features a friend of mine modeling reading, a parents weekend flyer from last year where the family is way too happy and way too creepy looking, Ted Nugent album that has an AWESOME guitar/machine gun on the cover, Roy Lichtenstein poster (in person it doesn't look nearly as crappy, drawing of my done by a homeless guy in Little Haiti for $1, mini Primer poster, mini Borat poster.

This really isn't a poster, but it's the shirt I wore to a GWAR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwar) show I went to last year. Since the shirt was basically turned into a tie-dye shirt from all the fake blood and ooze sprayed on us from all the killings on stage (I was literally soaking wet, it was ****ing awesome) I figured might as well put it on some of the nails in the wall. I might wear it again Tuesday though, when I go see GWAR again, can't wait!!!

Dude you should get the kind of blinds I have for my windows (wish I remembered what they were called) but they are the best at keeping light out. The blinds remind me of the pull down projector screens if that makes any sense. People think im some kind of jesus vampire because my room is so dark and the long hair and beard part.

The awesome painted Mallrats poster adorns my living room, along with the Gorrilaz in their geep, a Marvel Universe poster from the 90's and a poster for my dad's first album release. The kitchen has a Megaman wall scroll, and my room features Bob Marley hitting a spliff, the Superman logo above my bed and the blueprints from Mallrats over my shelves. In addition, random toys are scattered around my apt, including Impulse, Big O, animated-style Brodie and a giant stuffed Moogle.

You can usually get away with painting as long as you paint it back. The worst that will happen is that they tell you to repaint it to its original color. It's not like you will be evicted.
