I've been searching for a bluetooth keyboard so I could game from my couch on my media center PC. I go to look at Best Buy, and find their crappy generic "Rocketfish" bluetooth keyboard is 20 bucks more than the APPLE KEYBOARD. Considering Apple is known for, in the best light, premium prices for premium products [not exactly an Apple fan], I'm just left stunned that Best Buy's ignorance/arrogance.

The main point of this thread is to get bluetooth keyboard suggestions because I dont want to spend money on a DiNovo Edge yet [living with 4 other people in a crappy apartment, that keyboard is a bit expensive for this place] but I want a decent bluetooth keyboard.

Best Buy hating is welcome too.

Does it have to be bluetooth? A RF keyboard would probably work just the same. Both have security problems (though the bluetooth one might be slightly better).

If you live in an apt with 4 people in a crappy place wouldn't just be better for now to stick with a cheap wired keyboard?
You can get some nice ones still.

When it comes to instore brands they are usually priced more than they're worth. =p

If you want to buy a bluetooth keyboard you're going to be spending some cash for it (at least for the name brands; I'm not that familiar with any no-namers and even then I like to stick with Logitech as I do prefer them). There have been some specials popping up online for the Edge (the last one I saw was on techbargains.com and I think it was priced around $122 - possibly less) and that may be the way to go.

Otherwise, it might be best to hold off or consider a RF keyboard in the meantime.

It does have to be bluetooth because I have a lot of signals around my HTPC, and when the battery drops by even the smallest amount, the connection goes crappy. With bluetooth's 32-frequency switching, it'll hold up a lot better than RF. And as far as a cheap wired keyboard, that's a problem because I'm sitting like 10+ ft. from the computer, so a cable that distance is a bit impractical. Plus I already have an RF keyboard [hence knowing that it has a problem] so I am kinda used to the convenience of a wireless keyboard. It'd also be a bonus to have a mouse that uses bluetooth with my laptop [already have a Logitech G7 for my HTPC, so the mouse that comes with most wireless setups would end up with my laptop] since the laptop has built-in bluetooth so no receiver necessary.
