Okay, I just installed Ubuntu a few weeks ago on my PC while I will still running windows on the same disk drive. Now for the life of me figure out how to uninstall this thing. I need the space real bad for my music and I only have about 128 MB left of space now. Can someone please help me get my space back for my pc and uninstall Ubuntu?

By the way, my PC is a Dell Dimension 4600.

You need to delete the partiton Ubuntu is installed on and resize the Windows partition. There is a difficulty however. Once you have deleted GRUB will no longer beable to load so your laptop would effectively at that point be unusable.

You have two options to fix this:

If you have a windows install disk you can boot the recovery console and run mbrfix.

You could make a small 256MB ext2 partition to install GRUB to and use that to boot Windows.

The recovery console method is the easiest.

Okay, I would try the first method. But what do you mean by run mbrfix?

it's a program that is part of the recovary console. It replaces what ever is in the master boot record with the windows boot loader ('fixes' the MBR).

I believe the executable you're speaking of is 'fixmbr'.

Also, if you haven't installed the recovery console, the way to access it is to boot to your Windows install CD and somewhere along the way you'll have the option to press 'R' to get to the recovery console.
