Alex: The Comedian
Dan: Rorshach
Steve: Dr. Manhattan

Dan: Rorshach
Steve: Dr. Manhattan
Jeff as Nite Owl and Alex as the Comedian are spot on. However I'd say that Dan is the kid reading the comic book and Steve is Archie.

I totally agree. And as far as alex as the Comedian...why does anyone have to be the Comedian? He's such an asshole.
My picks would be:
Jeff = Ozymandias
Dan = Rorschach
Alex = Captain Metropolis
Steve = Doctor Manhattan, because he often plays god on TRS
