It looks interesting. I'm surprised that they chose to focus on that scene instead of all of the action. I'm also curious to see how they're going to explain Harry and Ginny getting together after cutting her part down to nothing in OoTP.
And because I completely agree with tamtamg I'll post this.

I hate the Potter movies, I'm not a fan of the books..... but to be honest that looks pretty awesome.

Wow, love the trailer was kind of turned off by the last couple movies, but hopefully this can get me back into the series

As someome who is a big fan of the series, you could easily anticipate my excitement for this movie. However, if there is one downfall, this is the first book in quite a long time that I've managed to beat the movie to (not since the first two), and it comes off a bit "limp."
NO! Limp is not bad! Its just not how I pictured it in my head, so, I've gotta come around it a bit.
That being said, this is probably my third-favorite book in the series (7, 5, 6), and it looks as though they've managed to find that evil/dark/mysterious tone that the movie so rightfully deserves. I don't want to call it on a level of "Empire Strikes Back," but certainly, this is about as dark as it gets in the Harry Potter series.
I'm excited, and I know I'll be at the midnight release.

In my mind, this is easily the best book in the series. I love that book. Book seven was a disappointment to me, so this is really the Harry Potter movie I'm the most interested in.
Have to say though, that the previous movies at their best were okay. I hope this one is good.
Trailer looked pretty sweet though.
love that the trailer focuses on the young voldemort. its almost horror movie like. Very dark. Love it. Cannot wait. I loved reading the book.

This book is one of those that doesn't really have a lot going on, all things considered, so hopefully they can take their time telling the story and do a good job.
The last movie was mediocre and the 4th one felt like we were running all the way though it. I don't mind when they have to change things from the book to make the movie, but a lot of times they change things for no reason (e.g. it would be just as easy to leave it the same). Whatever, I know I am not a multi-million dollar earning filmmaker, so I guess I have to trust them.

Can't wait for this movie! I'm a HUGE fan of the Harry Potter books. I've read each of them in like a day or two (can't put them down). :D

This is the first HP trailer that looks like its not for 10 year olds. I think this is a good trailer, and its good they don't just show random action shots...this trailer is story driven. I don't get why Dumbledore would show fire on a wall to show off his power...that's a little odd/overexaggerated foreshadow considering what this kid becomes. I don't watch the HP films in theatre, not a big fan.
But, the last book in the series will be split into two films, meaning you guys get to be $20 to see that one :(

It's been a while since I've read the book, but if I remember correctly that's part of one of the quests to find the horcruxes.

I am a fan of this series, so even though this isn't my favorite book I can't wait for the movie to come out. This trailer seems to be much like how I felt about this book...good but not the best.

I was screwing around on the internet one time before I read the sixth book and I accidentally read about what happens in the very end. Oh well.

Great trailer. In my minds eye the orphanage is more run down, but you can't deny they captured the dark foreboding, and flat out scary creepy felling that the young Tom gives off. Counting the days and clearing some time from work and obligations for the opening. This is the darkest HP book after all, well, with a smattering of snogging, maybe a lot. 112 days to go.
Here is a 720p version, that Microsoft site version sucks bullocks, too small.

And a 1080 for those on large HD tv's. If you view this on a smaller screen you will not see the controls at the bottom. But for those with computers hooked up to giant Plasma's - trailer away. :)

NOTE: These links are direct from Warner Bros., speed is very good.

What happens in the end is hardly the most exciting part about that book.

No, but knowing still kind of skewed there rest of the book, since you can't really believe **** because you know he ****s ***** in the ****.
Not giving out spoilers is funny. If you haven't read the book yet, just use my blanks as mad-libs. I made it easy.
