PS3 Greatest Hits Lineup Launches

Well Sony has finally launched their greatest hits lineup and I'm super excited about it as many people will get the chance to play games they missed the first time around. Also, for Warhawk, the $29.99 also applies to the Playstation Store version so know you TRSers have no reason not to join in with the TRS Clan! :D

Sony has officially launched the Greatest Hits lineup for the Playstation 3. There are a handful of must-play titles here.

If you haven't played it, we highly suggest you pick up Resistance: Fall of Man in preparation for the sequel this fall.

The full launch lineup is as follows:
- Assassin's Creed
- Call of Duty 3
- Fight Night Round 3
- Motorstorm
- Need for Speed: Carbon
- Ninja Gaiden Sigma
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas
- Resistance: Fall of Man
- Warhawk

Yeah, I know what ya mean. I'm guessing if you want $19-$25 then you'll either have to wait for a local sale or for the Greatest Hits to become the Greatest Hits OF the Greatest Hits, if that makes any sense. :D

It's funny you say that, as I have seen a few of these for less than the Greatest Hits price.. And some that aren't even Hits yet, such as Uncharted and Heavenly Sword (both were $28.88 at WalMart a few weeks ago, not sure if they're still that price).

Probably all of these games can be found in the pre-played sections of EB Games and Blockbuster for less as well.

I hope Sony drops the price within a year.. Or lowers the requirements for a title to be classified as a Hit, at the very least.

Don't forget that Warhawk doesn't come with the headset anymore. I might pick up Ninja Gaiden. Always wanted it but it always seemed too expensive for being out for so long.

Fuck "Greatest Hits". The price isn't great, the book is printed without color. An original can be found in a used section, for half price. "greatest HIts' means nothing, show me "Greatest Prices" and I'll care.

I've neither a ps3 or $5. If I had either, I doubt I'd spend it on a game I've never heard of. But you're right, that's a good price, I'll assume the price is fitting to the game ?

It's a PSN game, %50 sale. Only one that seems to be worth getting of the bunch, which does remind me, I should get it before I forget.

If possible, I would like to buy the original copy instead of these "greatest hit", "the best" version. I know they are actually the same but when I collect games instead of just playing games, I don't want to see any "greatest hit" package in my collection. It may sound weird but that's what I thought since the age of PSone.

Anyway it's good for those who would like to try these games (though you can always find a cheaper original version somewhere else).

I got both that one and Pain. I ended up really liking both quite well. Pain was really fun to me, but definitely not worth the original $10.
