What is your favorite convention?

The only convention I've ever been to was Gen Con when it used to be held in Milwaukee, so I'm not the best judge as far as conventions go. I don't think any of my friends have ever been interested in conventions but maybe I'll get to another some day.

So I'm asking the TRS throng which convention you like best.

From what I've seen and read, Comic-Con looks like the clear cut winner. It has the best of everything: Movies, TV, Video and Table Games, Collectibles, and the grand daddy of them all...Comics.

So do you like E3, Comic-Con, Wizard World, or another Con or Expo? Let me know if you want to Poll it.

Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con doesn't count but that would be a dream within a dream.

Same here...then I moved away, then it moved away, etc.

Can't say I'm really that interested in going to another convention...aside from some hands on, you get decent enough coverage online these days.

i am like you two. i have only every been to one big con. dragon con. it's pretty fun.

Comic con is my favorite now (from a coverage standpoint) but I liked the E3s from a couple years ago when they were open more. Mind you I've never been to any convention.

i am not sure E3 counts. that is a tradeshow.

but if we can add tradeshows to it then i will add CES.

It USED to be E3 but since it downsized I'm gonna have to go with the Tokyo Game Show.

As a kid went to a few star trek conventions, but quit since I eventually saw no point in paying to get in a room paying double for merchandise I could get in stores anyway and being around hoards of costumed people who smelled like they had not showered in two weeks.

Not been to any sort of convention since.

I would however like to go to CES maybe one day.

I have only been to comic con, so that is the winner for me but i would love to go to the TGS also...

among others i bet alot of smaller cons are really fun also

I've only been to Wizard World Chicago and Anime Central are the only ones I've been to. I will be going to a Dr. Who con this fall. Right now, Anime Central is my favorite for the experience of it.

I love GenCon Indy. 4 days of gaming and anime for me is awesome.

One of these days I'll make it out to PAX it just looks like to much fun
