Hey, I am trying to figure out how to rig up a hand crank wind fan, this is the thing, I want to some how, if possible, hand crank using as little muscle, force, energy of my own as possible, is there some kind of rig that will allow me to hand crank a device that will in return, turn a larger fan, with little effort, does that make sense? i hope lol. thanks !

Let me see if I remember this quickly. A rig-anf-pulley system with as many axes as possible should disperse the amount of work over a greater something. It will take more cranks, but let work per crank. Kind of like putting a 10-speed bike on the lowest gear. There's less resistance on the smallest wheel, but you have to pedal more times.

There's less resistance on the smallest wheel, but you have to pedal more times.Actually, I was going to suggest junking an old 10 speed bike and building the fan using its gears. Even better is that it could be a 10 speed fan :)
