Just hit the net today. Stumbled upon it purely by accident but found out later if I'd braved the navigation jungle of AICN, I'd have found it there. But anyways, here it is:

This popped up on The Totally Rad Show (http://revision3.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21202) forum.
This is from 2002, unless AICN had a report about it being ressurected. Eric Radomski headed up the animation production. He was the producer, along with Bruce Timm, of the Batman animated series. Whedon felt like they were offering people bags of money yet he had no takers. At the time I was told it was mostly because many of the rights to Buffy were already taken. Staking people wouldn't be allowed by Broadcast Standards and Practices on the kid networks and an animated Buffy would seem like a pale representation of "the real thing" if done in prime time.
I remember that one of the networks felt the color palette of the show was too dark and asked if she could fight vampires in the daytime.

I was under the impression it had not been on the Internet prior to that. I was just looking for this a month ago, actually, and couldn't find it.

Talking to a network exec about anything must be like explaining quantum physics to a three-year-old.

Dead to me.
Finally. If I knew this was all it took I would've done it ages ago.
