Thought I'd share a photo of me on a Segway at Palo Alto High School today wearing my Diggnation tee shirt.

Ok, here's one where I'm at least facing the camera even though I appear to be looking down at the ground.

Dave, don't let our snarky senior members scare you off. I'll hold comhcinc down while you disable the segway's bump sensors.

No, I'm on too many forums to get run off by any comments. I know that most are in jest and don't take them seriously.
I don't usually have a lot to say here, but thought I'd share pictures in my appropriate attire. :D

I was not trying to be snarky or anything as I really thought those were fad back in 2000 that died out and they went out with the dot com era.
I just never saw the point, just an overpriced scooter.

For the most part they are an overpriced toy, but a lot of fun. They are very functional for airport police departments, large mall security, downtown patrols, etc. I think there are some muncipalities that use them for meter readers as well. They actually do have some functional use and they have been updated quite a bit to include an off-road version with a wider wheel base and knobby tires.
Don't worry, I didn't take any offense to any comments.
