ok this movie is about a little girl who her father pays for her to stay at a school while he goes to war an they think he dies an so she can no longer pay for the school so they make her be a maid an she always tells storys about a fairy tale an makes a circle in the middle of her room an lays in it an at the end of the movie her father comes back an she goes with him an takes her only girl who was nice to her after she became the servant... I really cant think of the name of this movie if you can help please help lol

that is not quite the story but it is def 'the little princess'
it was one of my favorite books when i was a little girl
the little girl does 'make believe' but she gets a little real help
there is a monkey in it too
it is about the time of the british raj
