Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman is in hospital after being injured in a car accident in Mississippi.
The 71-year-old Dark Knight star is in a serious condition, according to staff at Memphis's Regional Medical Center.

I've heard of the Superman Curse and the Lee curse but no batman curse. As Far as I know all other batman actors are alive and kicking. We talking about the shows or the movies?

i begining hearing about the "batman curse" when ledger died. this has jsut made it worst. check out the comments on this story at fark and you will see what i mean.

It sounds like he's recovering pretty well and for that I am happy for him. He's a talented actor and speaker and it would suck to lose him.
That said, you shouldn't drive if there is a chance that you might fall asleep. Its just as bad as driving drunk. Mr. Freeman allegedly claimed to a witness on the scene that he may have fallen asleep. He's lucky he wasn't hurt worse......and that there were no farmers markets nearby. Those things are old people magnets.

Im very glad morgan is ok.
I am sad about the news of shia's finger however, that must be traumatic, hope all turns out ok for the guy.
